PRODUCT DESCRIPTION PLEATED Packs are available from AIM, which can be assembled with cardboard frames to from a pleated prefilter. The purpose of the pleats is to provide the maximum Filtration area for agiven volume. The pleated packs are manufactured to meet a variety of customer needs, as per their specifications. Pleated Filters in poly ester/poly proylene nonwoven media is laminated with expanded metal mesh for increased structural support. The pleats are sold In packs of 200, 250 or 500, depending on the media type. The depth of the pleats can be varied to suit customer's requirements.
	APPLICATION The pleat pack is enclosed in a strong, double-wall beverage board frame, which resists moisture from humidity or intermittent rain. For additional frame rigidity all diagonal supports of the beverage board frame are securaly bonded to the pleats at all contact points. Pleated Filters can be used to upgrade from less efficient fiberglass or polyester disposable filters or as prefilters to dramatically increase the life of more expensive high efficiency filters.
